Matt is passionate about all things property management. Matt comes from an art background with a 4 year degree from SCAD, accompanied by 8 years of property management in student and multi-family housing.
Adguary Calwile
Regional Manager
Adguary is a native of Greenville, SC. He received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University, where he was a Recruiting Assistant for the Clemson Football team (GO TIGERS!). He also worked as a Leasing and Marketing Agent for a student housing complex before graduation, and later moved to Baton Rouge, LA, where he managed a 700+ bed new construction student housing property. In 2017, Adguary relocated back to the Upstate where he serves as the Property Manager for Clemson Living. Adguary has a passion for making his tenants’ needs his top priority and ensuring they will have the best college living experience. During his free time, Adguary loves spending time outside with friends and family, grilling, and playing or watching sports.
Joshua Schulman
Joshua Schulman serves as Vice President at Marsh Management Services & Coastal Development Partners. He oversees new site acquisitions, underwriting institution relations, trade partner evaluations, and development processes. With a Master's in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University and a Bachelor's in Finance and Organizational Behavior from McGill University, Joshua brings a strong blend of academic rigor and practical experience to his role, driving strategic growth and operational excellence within the company.
John Sumner
Owner
John is a partner in Coastal Development Partners and Mash Management Services with over 20 years of experience in management, brokerage and construction along the east coast. John’s career began in New York City working for a midsize real estate company focused on leasing and management around the New York City area. John moved to Charlotte, NC in an opportunity to expand his career with Lincoln Harris where he managed the Bank of America real estate portfolio. In 2004, John moved back home to Savannah, GA to start his own development and construction company where he has focused on the construction of over 100 infill properties in downtown Savannah as well as custom homes throughout the Savannah and Bluffton areas.
John Graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. John is a licensed Contractor and Real Estate Broker in Georgia and South Carolina. He is an active board member at the Home Builders Association of Savannah and is also a member of the Historic Savannah Foundation.
Chelsea Smith
Property Manager
Chelsea is a seasoned property management professional with a wealth of experience that spans over 8 years in the industry. Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of property types, including commercial multifamily buildings in Ohio, as well as single-family homes and condo rentals in Bluffton and Hilton Head. Currently, Chelsea skillfully manages over 100 units of rental housing and commercial spaces in Savannah, demonstrating her capability in overseeing a diverse portfolio.
Chelsea's approach to property management is both strategic and personalized, ensuring that each property under her supervision receives meticulous attention to detail and tailored care. Her deep understanding of the unique aspects of both residential and commercial properties allows her to effectively address the specific needs of each sector. Chelsea's commitment to excellence is evident in her proactive management style, where she anticipates needs and swiftly addresses any issues, ensuring tenant satisfaction and property optimization.
